An implantable loop recorder (ILR) is a cardiac monitor that is meant for long term monitoring. This is an option to consider when symptoms occur infrequently, making it hard to diagnose and treat the underlying condition. An ILR is a small device that is placed just under the skin and continuously collects heart rhythm data. When the device is implanted, you will receive a monitor to place by your bed.  This monitor will automatically transmit to our office while you sleep.

We are currently able to do this procedure at the hospital, as well as in office. If you would like to learn more about the device our physicians currently implant, please click here.
