It was early on in his career that he realized the unique possibilities that electrophysiology offered, including the opportunity to truly cure a disease—something rarely possible in heart disease. He found a passion for research in the field and has received many prestigious grants for his work. Though he relishes his role as a teacher, Dr. Naseem forever considers himself a student.
